Shop or donate and support your community

Habitat for Humanity ReStores rely on their communities for success. Supporting your local ReStore helps Habitat build more homes for families in need of a safe, decent and affordable place to live.

What are Habitat ReStores and how do they help my community?

Habitat ReStores are a non profit home improvement store and donation center selling new and gently used furniture, appliances, home d├ęcor, building materials and more to the public at a fraction of the retail price. Proceeds from the ReStore fund Habitat for Humanity PEI, which constructs homes for families in need of affordable housing in our communities.

Waste Reduction

Your ReStore donations and purchases mean your perfectly re-usable household items and materials are recycled and given a good home, rather than going to waste.
ReStores help the environment by diverting useable materials away from already overflowing landfills across North America.

Over the past 30 years, Habitat ReStores have helped divert 950 million pounds* of household furniture and building supplies out of landfills.

In 2019 Habitat PEI diverted 754,000 lbs from landfills.

Our PEI ReStore is located at 167 Minna Jane Drive in Charlottetown.
Hours of operation are 9am - 5pm Monday to Saturday.
